Dana Prismatic Magic 2026
Dana Elementary School proudly welcomed Prismatic Magic for an engaging light and laser presentation in honor of Black History Month. Students in grades K–5, along with faculty and staff, enjoyed an informative and visually dynamic experience that highlighted the significance and impact of Black history.
The presentation combined education and entertainment, using vibrant laser visuals to reinforce important historical themes and messages. It was a meaningful and memorable way for our school community to reflect, learn, and celebrate the contributions and achievements recognized during Black History Month.

December Student of the Month
Dana Elementary Center Recognizes Students of the Month
Wyoming Valley West’s Dana Elementary Center recognizes December Students of the Month. Each grade level selects one student a month who displays excellent character, outstanding behavior, positive attitude towards others/learning, good citizenship, responsibility and respect to peers and teachers. Each student was rewarded with an Applebee’s dinner, a Dana Dollar to exchange for a tangible reward, a certificate of achievement and a gold medal. Congratulations to all of those who have met this criteria. Children’s Winter Coat Donations
The Wyoming Valley West School District's Dana Elementary Center is grateful to receive a large children’s winter coat donation from Elks Lodge 101, in Pringle, Pennsylvania. We extend our sincere gratitude to Elks Lodge 101 for their generosity and commitment to keeping our students warm this winter.
